Mitsubishi has finally announced their plans to put an end to the Eclipse model after 2012. This is one sad news as this car model is a sporty looking madness without having that skyrocketing price tag. Its name has now been associated with performance and without a doubt you can’t be disappointed with the Eclipse, your value for money is well compensated. Commemorating this event is a special edition trim package and this car manufacturer made sure that they will be ending with a big bang.
The SE model will be offered both on the coupe and spyder trims and they are distinguished by it black side mirrors, HID headlights and of course an exclusive badging. The cabin is fitted with high quality materials and shows off with heated front leather seats. For its entertainment system they have installed a thundering 650 watt Rockford Fosgate audio system with Bluetooth connectivity. This stands on a drooling 18 inch alloy wheel giving the Eclipse SE a more aggressive stance.
The power plant will be under two engine options. There will be a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine that can produce 162 bhp with 162 lb ft of torque. The other engine offered is a massive 3.8 liter V6 engine capable in spitting out an all powerful 265 bhp with 262 lb ft of torque.
