A high end performance car from the iconic Dodge Charger is back in 2012 and it has it’s the SRT8. This is distinguished by its mean looking front end with a high glossed black front grille. This is also fitted with an aggressive side skirt standing on a massive 20 inch light alloy wheels. You can also observe on its rear a sporty looking dual exhaust system.
Inside the cabin the dashboard is fitted with a flat bottom steering wheel attributed by paddle shifters. Aluminum accents and carbon fiber trim is also used all around the interior with sport seats perforated with suede inserts. This also features with ventilated or heated front seats. On the entertainment side a Harmon Kardon audio system was installed blasting to 900 watts with a Uconnect Touch 8.4 inch display.
This exclusive creation has a monstrous power set to 465 bhp with 465 lb ft of torque. This colossal power is generated through a 6.4 liter Hemi V8 engine that is mated to a five speed automatic transmission. This can achieve 0-60 mph in the high four second range with a top speed of about 175 mph of equivalent to 282 km/h.
Though this masterpiece generates more power, Dodge expect this muscle car to be more fuel efficient thanks to its active exhaust system and multi cylinder deactivation technology.
