The BMW M3 will now have a true competition in the form of a 2012 C63 AMG Coupe. This Mercedes Benz will have its debut next month at the New York Auto Show. Those desperate to hear about this car, despair no more….because this auto maker already released its performance specifications.
This will actually surprise you because the numbers of this sportier looking C63 version stays the same compared to the sedan and wagon variants. The power train is still the V8 6.3 liter engine that can give out 451 bhp with 443 lb ft of torque. This is paired to a MCT transmission which is a seven speed Speedshift. The coupe can sprint from 0-100 km\h in just 4.5 seconds but this is also the same with the sedan version. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km\h
The C63 AMG coupe will be launched in Europe later this July and will have a special package dubbed as “Edition 1”. This will feature door panel centers and armrests that are flushed with black leather highlighted by porcelain seams on its seats. This will also have AMG sport seats installed. This will stand on a gorgeous light alloy 5 twin spoke wheels wrapped in matte black finish.
Options for the exterior paint job is also available and can be wrapped in designo magno night black, diamond white metallic bright or in the standard metallic paint work.
