Ford unveiled its new project and it’s the 2011 Ford Vertrek Concept. This new SUV line up only shows Ford’s continuous evolving process in design and technology. The Vertrek goes away to the traditional blueprint cues of Ford and they have given new inspiration to their creations. This is one stunning SUV and by far the best looking masterpiece from Ford.
This is also one of the best in its class as it offers a 1.6 liter EcoBoost engine and has already incorporated Ford’s Auto Start-Stop technology which can give top notch fuel economy.
Ford claims that this beast will offer powerful trailer tow, monstrous off road capability and outstanding level of cargo space without, of course, loosing its sporty appeal.
The Vertrek Concept is actually based of Ford’s C-Segment platform. Other vehicles included in this platform is the new Ford Focus that will have its launch earlier this year, the latest Grand C-MAX and C-MAX which are both multi-activity vehicles. Surely all of these are all drooling designs from this car company.
This SUV from Ford will be a tough competition in the market and this company is serious in taking the lead in this car segment. The Vertrek is definitely a firestarter and will certainly heat things up… let the car fanatic’s heads rolling!
