Chevrolet already announced that their new sizzling design for the 2011 Captiva will have its debut at the Paris Motor show. This crossover will now have an all new improved cabin design with a more powerful yet economical engine.
This SUV now boasts a larger and a meaner looking grill, its redesigned fascia gives the Captiva a more muscular stance. This has a wider legroom and can seat up to seven people.
This is now powered by 3 different engines that can always be paired from an automatic or manual transmission. The first is a 2.4 liter dual overhead cam gasoline engine that can produce 171 bhp, the other two engines are diesel powered, it’s a 2.2 liter turbocharged engines that can produce 163 bhp and 184 bhp respectively.
This SUV also comes with jam packed technology. BAS-Braking assist system, ESC-Electronic stability control and the TCS-Traction control system. As to safety, this car comes with a standard front and side curtain bags.
There are a lot of options to choose from with the Captiva, you can also try to select a front wheel or even an all wheel dirve system and the possible combinations are limitless. This only tries to show that Chevrolet is aiming to meet everyone’s individuality and they’re finding a way to satisfy each one of them.
