Letting three worlds meet in one car and that is the 2011 Audi A7 Sportback. The A7 Sportback has the practicality of a 4 door sedan, the roomy feel of a wagon and the heart of a sports car. The idea came from their 2009 concept car that was presented in Detroit and this is what we need, a concept car that will be unleashed into the roads.
The A7 presents an interior masterpiece with a carefully detailed cabin flushed with leather and the cabin gives a more executive-like feel. Interior trims are available in two types for the aluminum option and three types for wood grain.
The A7 will be offered in 4 different V6 engines, two are run by gas and the other two run by diesel and these 4 engine trims will be offered in Europe and the first entry of the A7 in the US will only be a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 that can produce 300 bhp with 325 lb ft of torque. These engines are actually not new with Audi and these are currently being used for their A6 version but you can always expect massive power.
This is Audi’s answer to the new niche in the market where it will be competing with the Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide, Mercedes Benz CLS class and with all the other cars jumping into a more practical option.
